The thing I love about Kanga is having a laugh and not taking ourselves too seriously. I'm a Mum to a very active 5yr old wee man living out on my husband's family farm in Greendale

Kangatraining is specifically designed for postnatal women - it is the ultimate babywearing workout for mums and bubs.

We focus on rebuilding your entire body after pregnancy and birth, through a fun & energetic class.

You can begin Kangatraining as early as 6 weeks postpartum if you've had a vaginal delivery but you need to be at least 12 weeks postpartum if you’ve had a c-section - you must also have been given the all clear from your health professional.

There is no age limit for babies as long as every mother participating in Kangatraining can wear their baby safely and comfortably. Older siblings are welcome to come along too.

A Kangatraining class usually goes for about an hour - we start with a warm up track with babies in arms, some floorwork focusing on your core and pelvic floor muscles, and then babies go into carriers and we do some aerobics type workouts, squats, lunges, arm exercises, stretching and more pelvic floor exercises.

Classes run in accordance with the NZ school terms. You can trial and join anytime throughout the terms and fees can be adjusted accordingly.

Bookings are essential as places are limited.
